Full AdBlue Services - Peacehaven

AdBlue, otherwise known as diesel exhaust fluid, is a mixture of de-ionised water and high-grade urea, which is sprayed automatically into a diesel vehicle’s exhaust system to reduce nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions.

This reduction in emissions is required by law and is becoming increasingly strict. The AdBlue fluid in any diesel vehicle can be checked and topped up, if necessary, during each service, but it makes sense to keep an eye on the level yourself between services, as you would on any of the other fluids in your car or van.

Common AdBlue Issues

• AdBlue tank leaks
• AdBlue level sensor failure
• AdBlue pump failure
• AdBlue injector failure
• AdBlue pre-heater/heater failure
• AdBlue fluid contamination
• NOx sensor failures
• SCR catalyst issues
• Electrical problems or ECU issues

At Sea Cliff Garage, we offer a full range of AdBlue solutions and can diagnose and resolve any AdBlue issues your diesel car or van may have. This is specialist work and should only be carried out by technicians with AdBlue experience using specialist equipment, which we can do at our Peacehaven workshop.

If you think you have an AdBlue problem, get in touch and we will be pleased to advise you.

As an independent garage with an eviable reputation in Peacehaven, Sea Cliff Garage’s team dedicates themselves to excellence on every job we complete.  But we understand that new customers may need a little extra reassurance and so our memberships of IMI (the Institute of the Motor Industry), the IGA (the Independent Garage Association) and respected network, Trust My Garage, are designed to do that.
